Well... what a week. I am completely eating my words from the week before. But it is a good thing. Hmm... where to start...
Action team to the rescue.
I was allowed to continue my attunement chain for Hyjal/Black Temple. As I had stated before, I didn't keep my hopes up as when I'm feeling pretty down I can be a constant pessimist. Anyway I was told to come in for Mogorimm and then into Karathress. Aside from a few pokes and non-serious/other guild runs through SSC I had no real solid experience. What to do then in terms of this? Observe, take mental notes, keep a ToT of the other rogues in my group. I had help, I had other people send me whispers, helpful hints, points in the right direction. For that I thank them. Felt almost like hugging an old friend when it finally hit me that this is my first raid in days/weeks/months/ever and was just absolutely elated. Mogorimm went down without a hitch and we made our way into the trash to Karathress.
The Karathress fight itself was really fun. I liked the encounter and paying attention to something important (i.e. Spitfire totems) rather than just the usual constant mindless DPS. Well Karathress went down and to make the long story short I was awarded the Deathmantle Legguards. Ok so on vent, I didn't really want to be flipping out like I was at my desk so I said "Thx guys." Really though, I felt like I could have rivaled a man on crack at the time. Like wow, how do you describe getting gear you never thought you'd even really get?

AND EPIC FLYER ON THE SAME NIGHT TOO?! Gee golly!
Anyway we tried for Vashj that night but for some reason there were just too many unlucky things happening. My head started to get rocked from a headache and just in time for me to bear the worst of it Russta decided to call it. I don't have any screens of the Vashj encounter, too busy doing shit and I didn't want to stop focusing to take a picture then.
Tempest Keep
Again, the key elements to this was observance, take mental notes, keep a ToT of the other rogues. whispers, etc. I've seen BG's video to this fight and I remember remarking how much I wanted everyone in my guild to see it, how omfg fun that fight looked and all that good crap. OH LITTLE DID I KNOW... Anyway I'll let the pictures speak for themselves because I've done enough typing already:
The Kael'thas fight truly was the highlight of my week.
Back to Vashj which was taken down without much trouble.... on the third attempt. Or was it fourth? Once again, no screenshots, as that encounter keeps me busy as hell and on my toes.

The token for the T5 helm dropped and after much of her deliberation and out of her utmost generosity decided to pass to me. I made sure she was sure and thanked her profusely and continued my way to Hyjal.

Hyjal is insane. Just a mash up of people and spells and abilites and undead and all of that crap. I took one screenshot but it's so fucking busy it's hard to make anything out of it. Instead I rendered a drawing on my handy dandy sketchbook of the Rage Winterchill encounter:

Anyway where do I stand now? I just am here. Is there pressure (mostly ESPECIALLY from myself) to bring the rest of my gear up to par? You goddamn right there is. Alas I can only get points once a week and slowly but surely I will have my new mainhand from Arena. Also, where am I going to find 6 Primal mights for the vest I need to craft? With what money? I just blew the 5200 gold on the epic flyer which does in fact make a HUGE difference and opens up those other questlines for money. I can only ask the rest of my guild for their patience until I get there. Patience in learning from Sanou and Kuai about how I can be a better dps. I'm always receptive to criticism.

As for the primal mights, it might be kinda fun to farm them? That sounds kinda silly, but I enjoyed getting mine together for Alch Stone. I always forget azshara is pvp though so might be hellish now that i think about it ><
