All my wolves, kodos, hawkstriders, talkbuks, the zhevra and bear, all gone. All that was left was my black warstrider and this one. It's a known issue however, so hopefully I will have my mounts back tomorrow.

Still though, I'm very proud of myself grinding out Horde city rep and actually sticking to it.

One night my sister (who is a Human Rogue pictured above on some PvE server) asked me to step in for her for Morogrim in SSC. Sure, I said. I hadn't played WoW in about a couple of months, why not. Then she added, "The hunter usually gets top DPS, I don't like him very much, if you can manage to out DPS him, it'd make my night."

Thus it became my goal.

This was new to me, usually when I dips'd I had no problems with threat. But here, in this lovely February evening, with this guild only barely venturing into SSC, I was riding threat pretty precariously. I had a mission damnit. I used my usual dips cycle.

To make the long story short I did beat that hunter, after about a couple of wipes.

Going to sit down back at my PC, I thought to myself, I really miss playing WoW.

Enter Bebopaloo.

Bebop was someone I have seen around the forums I frequent since the butt-crack of dawn. I got asked once "How did you and him start talking?" to which this day I don't have a solid answer for. It just kinda happened. Anyway we were having an intellectual discussion over peanut butter crunch when I mentioned I wanted to go back to WoW:

Bebopaloo:	wut class should i lvl irl
Bebopaloo:	think of one for me to lvl
Bebopaloo:	in the mean time i play smash
Bebopaloo:	U THINK OF ONE AND WE LVL
Bebopaloo:	RITE NOW
Kytele:	drood
Bebopaloo:	brb tho
Kytele:	i have no wow acct
Kytele:	ok
Kytele:	if you're willing to level with me u gotta play on detherox
Bebopaloo:	I am
Bebopaloo:	but idk wut i wan lvl lol :-(
Kytele:	CHANGE OF PLAN *note: lily intervention here*
Bebopaloo:	wat
Kytele:	Kel'thuzad
Bebopaloo:	o
Bebopaloo:	well lemme finish dling it first lol1

Bebop's willingness sealed the deal for me. After a night of downloading we made our characters and began our long(ish) journey to level and be complete pros in the process.

So thus began our leveling. We decided to XP in Silvermoon since we both knew the area pretty well and the trainers for our classes were in the city. It wouldn't have been as easy if say, we leveled a shaman in the Ghostlands. You'd have to fly to Orgrimmar each time. I hope they will put a Shaman trainer in the Eastern Kingdom sometime.

womg her skin is so clear

So I decided to roll rogue again this time around. Why do I love this class so much? I think it's because it's the only class I feel like I truly understand. I also think that's because it's the only class I ever leveled to 70. Sure I had a hunter at 68 but really, I never ever truly got familiar with it. It was always mark, attack, shot rotation, pet tanks, mob dies. Rinse, repeat. I would get rolled in PvP, because I had to fight the urge to go into Rogue mode and by that time I was half dead.

So off we went, into the Ghostlands, doing every quest we could get our grubby paws on. The reason we made our characters on Kel'Thuzad was due to the influence of itslily and bigzeroth. They're great really, and offered me and Heepum (Bebopaloo) a lot of help. So a big thank you from us to you!

the beginnings of being pro

So we've been going along at a rather fast pace. It was here when we began a tradition of sorts of somehow of going for Elite mobs a little past our level and taking epic killshots (lol).

So we got to about 18 and were ran by Lily through Wailing Caverns:

pritty dresses omg

it just loops around

Off we continued, into Stonetalon, then Ashenvale doing random quests along the way:

omg BARE ATTAX

Probably one of my favorite quests.

Off through Blackfathom Depths:

A place I never bothered leveling through before was the Saltflats in 1000 Needles. Personally I liked it just for the amount of grinding we did for the leather I got.

i like this screenshot

ESS TEE VEE:

So leveling in STV I thought was going to be a nightmare. It wasn't as bad as I remembered actually. I think it was because Bebop made it a lot of fun. He decided one night to waste an entire night of leveling spam flexing Alliance in the Nesingwary camp. What ensued was hilarious:

Eventually those two Alliance guys soon realized what Bebop was doing and entered into a duel. The loser was one-shot by Bebop and his trusty HAMMUR. Pretty soon they got an idea. They began calling their friends out to STV and casually enter a duel with them. Once whomever lost he'd immediately rez up and whack them and take a death. It was hilarious.

Very fun night.

lul

BEAR GALLURY

funny bug

So off we went further, sailing past level 30's and 40's. And into the 50's we sailed into Tanaris and Un'Goro:

There's lots of screens and not a lot of banter, but I've been putting off this update for a long long time. The more I've put off the bigger it got and I finally decided to get around to it. I also didn't want to wait until after we've reached the outlands to update since I know that in itself will be huge as well. As of last night we're 56. I didn't want to tell people that I came back, I guess I just wanted to not answer the question of why and what happened to my last character, but I'll just say that because, and it's no longer mine.

I definitely am enjoying this a lot more this time around. Although I miss some of the things that I got pre-BC like my Blood Guard title, and the opening tabard from the portal event when TBC opened. But here's to a new and possibly better experience!

But damn this icon is super cute.

Anyway I haven't made a real honest to bob WoW update. I've put up a lot of screens on my photobucket/flickr account but as since have left it untouched in favor of completion. Frankly it's not gonna get completed so here goes:

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
That's why a bear can rest at ease
With just the bare necessities of life

OMG first before anything:

The beginning was a powder keg of sorts, if anyone got into a fight it was pretty much all-out. Luckily though while we were gathering nothing too drastic happened.

Ze big door! Time to go inside. After fighting through the trash we ended up here:

BEAAARRRRRRRRR! Frankly this guy isn't too tough at all, if you've got two tanks. It's pretty much necessary since one form does a mangle and the other does a bleed effect.

After beating this guy we got this:

The next guy was definitely fun to do. Running under a randomly ported character while trying not to die seemed really fun. Ugh the birds though, they were a hassle during the fight. Not too tough but just really really annoying during the encounter.

And the lewtz:

That was all we could manage to do. The PTR stability blew lots of chunks and we could barely stay online for 10 minutes at a time. Hopefully when 2.3 goes live next week I'll make a true and completed update on ZA. For now though I can say I really enjoy it so far. I love how the eagle god looks like something out of Mayan hieroglyphs.

The Hallow's End came and went pretty much. It was great doing raids in different costumes and pumpkinheads, the most popular of which was the leper gnome/pumpkinhead combo (why am I not surprised?). Personally though, I prefer the pirate costume:

I did manage to grab a very snazzy broom:

I even got a swift flying one but I won't bother with using it until later. Probably the summer.

Someone (I can't remember whom) wanted a screenshot with Maiev a little more prominent. Shadow Prison is an excellent way to take a breather before the last phase and to snap some screens:

You know, back in August if you had told me I would ever get this far I'd have laughed in your face. By then I was completely demoralized and dismal about the fracture of my guild and eventual departure of my home server. I came to Azshara knowing only few few people, and with nothing to lose. By a fantastic (almost unbelievable) turn of events I came to be a regular raider with my guild. First and foremost I must thank gigogoomba (Setsuko) for offering really really really worldly advice (even now!) and the reason I came to Azshara. Without her I probably wouldn't have made the jump at all. There's plenty of things to be grateful to you for also, but that is another story to tell.

There's another person who I owe a multitude of thanks to. Thanks for taking a chance on me even though I probably didn't seem to qualify. Honestly I didn't think you would but I had nothing more to lose and on the verge of quitting. I know I've been really hard on myself but that is because I don't ever want you to regret your choice in taking that chance. I try to make good on it every time I log on to raid. There's also a gazillion things that I am thankful for but as I said, that is another story to tell. You know who you are.

With that said, and with our extreme luck in only starting to farm Illidan, I was sure that that luck would soon run out. I really didn't expect to get this so soon, expecting to wait months for it actually (without complaint), but our luck didn't quite run out:

So thank you.

Thank you.

Against my better judgment (yes duh, I did enchant it), I started the Netherwing daily quests. I managed to finally get past Neutral and into Friendly. Already my favorite quest is the Booterang one. No surprise there, right? On my way to gather the material needed for my very own personal Booterang, I came across the southern portion of the Stormspire:

If this guy was for a quest, then I never did it:

My frienz, comrades etc. etc.:

Omg it's Noellee!:

IT'S ELECTRIC!

That's it! Ahhhhhhghgghhghgh I'm spent. Until next time.

x-posted

What I mean by this is that he alternates from Phase I to a Demonform, a darker green glowey Illidan.

While he's in demon form he spawns these demons and target random people. Basically they need to be taken out ASAP:

They keep you paralyzed with that beam as long as they target you, and if they reach you they kill you in one shot. We wiped once at this point because our lock tank got two of them at once (who tests this really?) and couldn't kill one fast enough with the other. Sadfase. Also clumping up to even kill them tends to be a bad idea since one of Illidan's offensive attacks stack with as many people who are close together.

Anywhoo....

Phase V: TIEM STOP

At this point dialogue ensues! I won't spoil it for anyone here but some of the vent was interjected by a good number of people going "SHH SHHH I WANNA HEAR THIS." I'm glad I'm not the only one who is interested in the lore.

Finally after our 4th(?) attempt we downed Illidan. Huzzah!

We sill suck @ grp photos. P.S. we died to parasites in the end. Lame.

i am teh strong

Oh! Last but not least:

I decided to name him Olaf.

So thank you for being that kind of girl

Short tiny random image update again!

Kytele is still 56 as of this post. I dunno, I kind of lost the motivation to level her since I do it on my own. I hate leveling on my own, it sucks a lot. But it helps keep me in touch with all my friends in Detheroc. Sometimes I do miss raiding with them, but you know, all good things must come to pass. I went out and did a few quests out in EPL and as I did the troll one and got outside I saw that EPL CAN BE PRETTY! So I snapped it.

I really like taking screens in WoW. I suppose it's the photographer in me. I always try to get the right shot, and I think it's worth it when it comes out great.

Our guild has some real bad luck with this ring up until a few days ago. Two (2) (dos) (zwei) (deux!) dropped in one night and the clamor on vent was pretty enormous and lollerific.

I really really really still don't like Hyjal, but at least it's better with the trash giving rep and loot on the bosses and whatnot.

I giveth onto thee thy whirlwind heart

Doing this quest (although time consuming and tedious) was really a lot of fun. Tanking this was funner still, lots to watch out for and all that jazz.

I did this while waiting for Archimonde to start (right this very second even!) and I don't even know why I made this, but I just sat there and took this screen. I took it into PS and added the text. Meh. We'll see if I get inspired to make more.

That's it for today, hopefully soon I'll update about Illidan!

x-posted!

"Wharz da goddamn boat?"

I had never tanked anything in my life. I thought I'd give it a shot, since hey, I did roll a warrior. Tanking for the first time was a little unnerving, I still had to get used to everything. I keep forgetting some buttons for Battle don't exist for Protection, and the ones that do I moved somewhere else. Yeep! I think after the second time I had it pretty much down. And would you know it, I actually had fun doing it.

Kinda cool, rite?

There's two in Proudmoore! Crazy. I wonder if they bought the card on e-bay.

Two cool action screenshots:

Man I'm so awesome.

SSC was yesterday and I managed to nab a few shots of Lady Vashj. Man, Lady Vashj reminds me of a name some white girl in the UK would take when becoming a rapper. Anywhoo, here's the screens:

They still move when she's dead. Creepy.

And I got two new pieces!

This was going through my head after the raid.

And:

Hello T5 Gloves.

Finally, a new mainhand. I'm excited about it a lot. All I need is 4 shards to slap mongoose on it and I'm set.

Eldieme is pretty awesome, I have to admit. It's my toon on Mal'Ganis.

Since Russta pretty much demanded he be mentioned exclusively in my update I've decided to oblige him:

Lewls

Let's do the time warp again:

THOSE WERE DA DAYS. Myself, Apollyon (whatever happened that mother fucker?), Hellboy, Buko (before he got bant), and Arnolectz.

Night before honor patch, Kyanus had JUST completed the summon Doomwalker quest. So we decided to go to some lowbie alliance town (we chose Darkshire), and let him loose. I don't have the screens of when he was let loose (unfortunately since I think I was the one who died during the ritual).

I think it was then I broke my DK cherry. Hadn't had a single one my entire time playing before TBC up until that honor patch when it'd be wiped the next day anyway.

That's all folks.

What a wierd wierd night.

Thursday last week I didn't attend the raid due to it being my sister's 22nd birthday. When I came home, I was informed of many many wipes and the eventual call of the Mother Shahraz fight. Which is understandable, the fight depends a lot on luck.

Sunday rolls around and in spite of our preparations, we go in there and shockingly one-shot Shahraz. It was pretty amazing.

Wierd.

Anyway we made our way to the Illidari Council. On our first few real serious attempts previous, for some reason we kept wiping. I don't know exactly what caused them, my role in this fight is purely for interrupting.

P.S.: Blue Garter still sux at group shots

Illidari Council was surprisingly one-shotted after our very fast Shahraz attempts. As long as everyone is doing what they're supposed to, the fight goes on without much incident. It's pretty lame that I can't do much dps at all in this fight, BoP's and Damage Reflect kind of prevent that from happening. Having said that, I don't have any screens of the encounter, as I'm always constantly having to pay attention for interrupts. My role although important in this fight, is kinda boring.

Someone get the door.

On next week's episode of Miami Vice

Soon after that was over, we made our way upstairs, to Illidan:

i'm not touching u i'm not touching u

We decided to try a few attempts to get us into the groove of the fight.

Holy shit, there's so much going on in Phase II that it makes me seriously want to get a widescreen monitor that much more. Hah. I'll try to take more screenshots next time but that's all I have of that night.

Archimonde!:

I finally managed to get some decent screens of this fight.

oooo pretty colors!

Oh and now for the random stuff:

AND THUS PETE WAS BORNETH

Finally after putting it off for so long, I got my Kodo. I wanted to name him Boscoe, but that's too close to Buscoe from the Oxhorn shorts. After asking my friend Tottien, Pete became the new name.

Too bad I don't level her all that much. She's so cute though.

About a few weeks ago Russta, Btb and I started characters on Proudmoore. They have never leveled Alliance characters and I went along because I had yet to level anything else besides a Rogue or Hunter past 25 or so. And so, Kytele the Warrior was born:

*Hums Charlie's Angels theme*

It's fascinating listening to their reactions to stuff Alliance side, how they're quick and eager to compare quests, locations and music. As of right now we're between 29-30.

Quite possibly one of the more cooler quests I've done.

Arno made his mage here too, although mine's way cuter.

And finally, something I had been wanting for a while, I hit Exalted with the Ashtongue:

WHOO!

And I'm not talking about like, oh this is boring or wahtever, I'm talking like.... Who the FUCK thought up of this encounter?!

I'll get into more detail but for now, pics!:

Clearing ze trash

This is my perspective with pretty much everything. Hmmyep.

Did I mention how lame this fight is? I can't even begin to describe it. I suppose I should start with the requirement. 295 Sadow Resist, unbuffed, minimum. That meant taking the time to farm the trash for those oh so wonderful Hearts of Darknesses to make the gear that's offered by patterns from the Ashtongue rep vendors. So after that's all said and done, you go up to her and wipe about eight zillion times due to a very overpowered Fatal Attraction or a crushed tank.

What is Fatal Attraction?

Mother Shahraz has a very annoying ability named as such. What does it do? It can port up to three people to a random location in the hallway where we fight her. As soon as the group is ported, they start taking a heavy heavy shadow DoT (between 1k-3k a tick with buffed Shadow Resist) and are linked by a beam. The only way to break this beam is for the group to seperate past 25 yards... or die from the damage. Also, anyone within 15 yards of those beams takes the same DoT until the beams break or they get out of the way.

Now, my guild is pretty competent, moving out of the way is usually no problem. Fatal Attraction itself isn't bad when it's dispelled. However... It's no fun when Shahraz ports you into a tree (which happened to me and two others... twice), ports the tank, or ports into the melee or caster groups and promptly wipes everyone in range within seconds.

It's broken I tell ya.

Finally, after numerous attempts (as she is very easy to reset), everything seemed to fit into place and the Harem Matron was felled. Of course the din on vent was much more exciting than Reliquary a few days before, as it should have been. Killing Shahraz after so many attempts was so satisfying. I thought for sure we would get stuck here for a couple of days, as so many guilds have been. For some reason though tonight we were fortunate. One day of attempts and she was over.

Fun fact: Blue Garter sux at taking group shots.

Better still, I was elated at the fact that I pulled in 4th on the meter.

We decided to fool around with Illidari Council and were promptly wiped. Ahahah.

As the guild would say "Illidari Council goin down 2NITE."

Here's hoping.

Attempts were made on it before, but tonight was looking to have it down for sure. There's three specific phases to this fight, and there's responsibilities and tasks that a lot of the raid have (along with the usual) that make the difference between a win and a wipe.

However, it did allow me to take some screenshots:

Yea I'm dead... but I took screenshots!

I think this one is one of my favorites now.

Finally after about 3 attempts we finally downed RoS (with much enthusiasm from my GM screaming like a crazy person on vent):

Not pictured: The literal PILE of skeletons behind us.

Also, last week was Gurtogg Bloodboil.

Gurtogg gives random people in the fight a debuff called Fel Rage. Although depending on who it's given to, it becomes more of a superbuff. It gives you an insane amount of max HP, and +dmg, and healing to accommodate. And it makes you big! It's especially nice when a rogue gets it, it quickens the fight along.

Also, I made a public entry on my encounter with Archimonde the Defiler a few weeks ago. I thought it might have been too short to post here, as I like my updates kinda substantial. :D

Exalted with Skyguard! Woot!

As usual, my doubts still kind of linger in my mind. I'm still worrying about my output on the damage meters. Just knowing that I can be better and am not at the moment just kills me. I have to keep faith that eventually my gear will be up to par, and it'll pick up from there. Just takes time. Maybe I'm just too worried what the rest of the guild thinks of me solely because I'm not doing as well as I should on the meters. I don't want them to think I'm not pulling my weight because it's quite the opposite. I'm just at a brick wall with what I've got right now. I guess it's just easier for some to maintain a high damage output with less effort because of the equipment they've earned over time. That's fine, that's great, good for them. However I'm not very apt to the idea that they think I'm just coasting along, because I am most definitely not.

Mmmmm tea.

Crossposted to wow_ladies.

Hammering in my head don't stop in the bullet train from Tokyo...

Only two pictures from the Archimonde fight.

I have to say, this is a really unique fight in the sense that if one person dies, it's pretty much a wipe. So what do I do in my first attempt? Die. Hahah. Ugh.

Anyway I did learn (and very quickly) when to time to use my slow-fall tear as to not eat full fall damage. Good thing Rogues have Safe-fall!

Anyway the event in the end is real neat. The fight itself on a dps perspective really keeps you aware of your surroundings. Cooldown timers have to be kept in mind, judgment on whether or not to use WotF or my PvP trinket during Archimonde's fear... etc., etc.... well the important thing was to NOT GET IN THE FIYYAA! Well in the times that I did run into it (i.e. being surrounded by it at 15%) I'd just pop CloS and have it over with.

At 10% the event triggers and the fight is pretty much over. He goes down in a blaze of pretty lights and colors as seen in the second screenshot. I'd have taken more but it's all a mish-mash (well all of the Hyjal encounters are, really).

Anywhoo, tomorrow's agenda is revisiting Black Temple, hopefully I'll have a new mainhand by the end of the night. :D

    <lj:music>Hadouken! - That Boy That Girl</lj:music>

Monday I logged into my main after dragging my feet about completing the Netherwing quests for the day. As soon as I had logged in I received an invite. Puzzled, I took it and was asked to come to the Black Temple. How exciting!

Anyway for this night we did two bosses, Warlord Naj'entus and Supremus.

I swear this screen came out just like that!

Warlord was first. This fight required coordination. Someone will get hit with a large shard looking thing and once you take it out of someone it's in your inventory. It's used later on in the fight on repeat but yes, lot of communication involved.

Clearing the trash beforehand.

Almost dead.

K it's dead.

Next up was Supremus. This fight is not very melee friendly. I spent more than half the encounter dodging lava and volcanoes.

I'm running and took this screenshot. For all you guys know I could have been running into a volcano.

Next day, Teron Gorefiend, Shade of Akama.

Pushover.

Don't pick me don't pick me don't pick me.

This fight was definitely engaging. Unfortunately without the 25th person (dps) in the raid he was slowly picking us off one by one. During this fight my sister probably tried to adress me 4 different times but when I'm in the middle of a hard dps cycle, I can't concentrate. The energy metronome is ticking inside my head. I guess being a former musician helps, it's a constant and steady beat in my mind. Wierd? Maybe. But really useful.

Running back is so kewl.

Anyway, I suppose for the rest of the raid it feels like a struggle, like "it was going good until...". The general answer is "it's cuz we got new ppl". So I can't still help but feel somewhat responsible. But I'm not slacking, not in the least. At least I don't think so. I just wish the meters would reflect it. I never used to care so much about how I did on a parser but it's gnawing at me now. I guess it's the pressure thing that I've put on myself. Not to mention from the other rogues. Realistically though, how can I compete? They're gear is far more superior than mine. I just... gotta be patient and do what I do the best I can.

I took screens to make people stuff. I took them to almost the same places in Nagrand. I ended up not using two of them but I'd like to feature them here anyway:

Grats on T6 Priest hood Setsuko. =)

Set's alt in all her pvp gear.

Did you really expect one not in this pose?

That's it for this evening.

For the people on the edge of the night
And love dares you to change our way
Of caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
this is ourselves

Under Pressure

Under pressure.

Well... what a week. I am completely eating my words from the week before. But it is a good thing. Hmm... where to start...

Action team to the rescue.

I was allowed to continue my attunement chain for Hyjal/Black Temple. As I had stated before, I didn't keep my hopes up as when I'm feeling pretty down I can be a constant pessimist. Anyway I was told to come in for Mogorimm and then into Karathress. Aside from a few pokes and non-serious/other guild runs through SSC I had no real solid experience. What to do then in terms of this? Observe, take mental notes, keep a ToT of the other rogues in my group. I had help, I had other people send me whispers, helpful hints, points in the right direction. For that I thank them. Felt almost like hugging an old friend when it finally hit me that this is my first raid in days/weeks/months/ever and was just absolutely elated. Mogorimm went down without a hitch and we made our way into the trash to Karathress.

The Karathress fight itself was really fun. I liked the encounter and paying attention to something important (i.e. Spitfire totems) rather than just the usual constant mindless DPS. Well Karathress went down and to make the long story short I was awarded the Deathmantle Legguards. Ok so on vent, I didn't really want to be flipping out like I was at my desk so I said "Thx guys." Really though, I felt like I could have rivaled a man on crack at the time. Like wow, how do you describe getting gear you never thought you'd even really get?

Celebratory dance.

AND EPIC FLYER ON THE SAME NIGHT TOO?! Gee golly!

Anyway we tried for Vashj that night but for some reason there were just too many unlucky things happening. My head started to get rocked from a headache and just in time for me to bear the worst of it Russta decided to call it. I don't have any screens of the Vashj encounter, too busy doing shit and I didn't want to stop focusing to take a picture then.

Tempest Keep

Again, the key elements to this was observance, take mental notes, keep a ToT of the other rogues. whispers, etc. I've seen BG's video to this fight and I remember remarking how much I wanted everyone in my guild to see it, how omfg fun that fight looked and all that good crap. OH LITTLE DID I KNOW... Anyway I'll let the pictures speak for themselves because I've done enough typing already:

The Kael'thas fight truly was the highlight of my week.

Back to Vashj which was taken down without much trouble.... on the third attempt. Or was it fourth? Once again, no screenshots, as that encounter keeps me busy as hell and on my toes.

Dear Penelo,

If you ever read this I hope you know I love you with all my body including my (e)-pee pee.

Love,
Kytelly

The token for the T5 helm dropped and after much of her deliberation and out of her utmost generosity decided to pass to me. I made sure she was sure and thanked her profusely and continued my way to Hyjal.

I'm the mother fucking skeletor.

Hyjal is insane. Just a mash up of people and spells and abilites and undead and all of that crap. I took one screenshot but it's so fucking busy it's hard to make anything out of it. Instead I rendered a drawing on my handy dandy sketchbook of the Rage Winterchill encounter:

Portrayed in the utmost accuracy. Ask anyone who was there.

Then this morning:

Lewls.

Anyway where do I stand now? I just am here. Is there pressure (mostly ESPECIALLY from myself) to bring the rest of my gear up to par? You goddamn right there is. Alas I can only get points once a week and slowly but surely I will have my new mainhand from Arena. Also, where am I going to find 6 Primal mights for the vest I need to craft? With what money? I just blew the 5200 gold on the epic flyer which does in fact make a HUGE difference and opens up those other questlines for money. I can only ask the rest of my guild for their patience until I get there. Patience in learning from Sanou and Kuai about how I can be a better dps. I'm always receptive to criticism.

Thanks a bunch everyone. I truly honestly appreciate bringing me along and for making my week pretty awesome.

i am staring at u hard

Hello again ladies. Once again I bring you my collection of various screenshots of my time playing.

No guild screens this time around, as I have gone through a major overhaul as of late.

I recently quit my guild on Detheroc... rather... our guild imploded due to lack of motivation and morale. Two of the officers decided to break us up and merge with the first guild that would take our awesome group.... I wasn't so keen on to this idea. The guild didn't take ALL of us and kind of blocked the people they didn't want while the other officers just didn't seem to care enough to do anything, much less cancel the merge. Also, I kept giving up my spot to other raiders for Kara who weren't as geared and left me with nothing to do. So I'd log off. And in doing so, got put into an "inactive" status and was told that there was talk from one certain officer to not include me in the upcoming merge.

It didn't matter. I had nothing left in Detheroc, aside from my Hunter. No one really wants a rogue to raid so I went to the next server where I knew people. I no longer wanted to be in a guild where because of my selflessness and generosity to others I'd be screwed over because of one person's opinions of what constituted "activity".

Hi2u Azshara.

The move was painless however...

I miss raiding. A lot. It's almost painful how much I miss it. PvP can only fill the gap so much. I'm like a lovesick puppy... thing bla. My rogue has some pretty good gear for pve and ugh... UGH. It's just sitting there. I joined a new guild with some of my friends but it's unlikely at this point I'd even be allowed to raid, at least until Zul'Aman. Right now they're at Black Temple and Hyjal and it's doubtful they'll come back for other content.

ANYWHOO

On to the screenies:

My former GM (who is now a good friend of mine) and I and the last guild I joined before merging:

Within about a week of transferring I got asked to join a 2v2 team by a guildie. Right now Zombie Sap Attack is at a 1739 Arena Rating. :D

New Sig for the forums in the transfer:

Choices to make... I love my Strep main but I feel as if I may have to retire her and that just makes me a sad panda. Choices choices:

The choices to make from here are pretty vast. I've even considered quitting. The thought of having to re-attune, re-grind, rinse repeat just doesn't do it for me. I just might have to suck it up and just do it if I want to progress anywhere. Even just being there in the guild talking isn't cutting it.

I love my Hunter though, she's 53 as of now:

This was the result of calling one of the opposing faction's wifes "fat."

The Alliance were dumb enough to take us on right on top of the mushroom in the Deadmire. It meant whoever got werkd had to spirit res. It's a good thing we won then. Kek.

On my druid alt I went all the way to the Exodar just to pick up my moth pet. I think they're adorable:

My bank alt, Hipsdontlie is one sexy mamma jamma:

So!

First off to list as I usually do, random guild chat:

One of our new MT's talking about crafting a certain item:

On my hunter alt:

And he did.

And it was good.

Hmmm what else is there? Well my guild finally has Kara on full clear last week and this week we had enough people to try for TWO groups! I was really excited. We're both doing so well, but we still have to stabilize because some people drop early and unexpectedly and effectively ends our raid. But at least we're one-shotting bosses so I think that means we're a very solid group. We even impressed my groups recent transfer MT. He was a bit skeptical about coming over to Detheroc but I think after the first night he was pretty sure my guild was more than capable. I don't mean to brag, but my friends on this guild are one of the most skilled and awesome people to play with. Running anything with them is a smooth and painless experience.

Anyway, MOAR SCREENIES:

New siggy:

I recently got T4 gloves! Whoo! I made this image for my site's update and usually the people who get T4 gets a neat picture with their fancy new equipment. This is my GM Kyanus and I:

Guild's first Nightbane/Netherspite kills:

I recently went to Crushrigde to pay a visit to a friend, and made Eletyk, my Draenei alter-ego, who is cute as hell btw:

Our Tauren Hunter class leader going through some "changes":

My little Peanut! (SOOO ADORABLE!):

Before the patch went live, I went and snuck around the PTR and just had to do some testing on the changes. Also some friends and I were inside and decided to screw around Hyjal and CoT:

Tier 5 smexyness:

And as a smexy human:

And in case I haven't mentioned in my earlier posts, I am a Tauren fan. I can't help it, they look so dumb and stupid and oaf looking and I love it. Big teddy bearish kind of thing. So when I saw this guy, I was just agape. Ladies and Gentlemen I give you, FLASKATAUR!:

This picture is what I like to call the "Kara Rejects Club.":

They're not all loaded on my screen, that's how many there are. This club (it's always been Alliance) for the past few weeks hangs out in front of Karazhan doing nothing but ganking Horde for hours on end. Makes it impossible to summon so everyone has to fly and ride in from Stonard. It's always the same smattering of about 3-4 guilds, and I like to think they just couldn't get a raid spot so they figure if they're not raiding, then the Horde kids won't either. So we try to find ways around it, summoning at the side entrance, or at Stonard, riding in together etc... All they're really doing is wasting time. So it's no big deal for my group, just move on.

There you have it ladies, my newest update. And yes I know it's been a while, but I'm going to try to get more in as time progresses. If anyone wants to see my previous updates, feel free to visit my personal journal. All the entries I make to this community are cross posted to my journal publically. Enjoy! :D

-Kytele/Strep

    <lj:music>Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol</lj:music>

Goodness gracious! It's that time again oh nooooo!

Ok so this is my Blood Elf Hunter. Currently she's 33, and I've just been SOOOOO LAZY leveling her up. I feel like there is so much left to do on my main, that even leveling up my alt makes me feel like I'm detracting on Strep. SIGH. I guess I'll just have to keep going.

So far my guildies and I have been running Heroic instances non stop. Up to 18 badges now, and I really want that sweet looking dagger. This was interesting, taking a crit from an Underbog lord (those are CRAZY in Heric mode) and vanishing at the same exact instant and living!

I knew that from the moment I laid eyes on one of these I knew I had to have one. After 4 days of solid bead farming I claimed my prize Talbuk mount:

Ahhh my guildies, my guildies... whatever shall I do without them? I love them all to pieces:

My sig, that I made for BG forums and my Guild forums:

I picked up the pattern for Stylin' Purple Hat. Made a friend wear it:

And finally my obligatory nice screen:

I don't have too many issues right now. The only thing I am worried about is that my guild is about to be absorbed into another guild. It doesn't bother me all that much. The problem lies in the class that I play. Don't get me wrong though, I love rogue, I love everything about it and I take pride in doing my job well. I strive to be a good rogue, nay a GREAT one, and I am constantly learning about how I can make my class more effective per situation.

Right now I'm concerned with the lack of utility Rogues have in instances. I can get into my guild's 5-man heroic runs but really that's about it. The new guild will be starting Kharazan runs soon, but I have a feeling the two rogue spots will be taken by the other guild's rogues. I think I probably am likely not going to be raiding for quite a while. This really dissapoints me. I know I do a good job on instances, and I try not to f*uck up at all. I don't know what's in store for me. All I can do is wait. I'm so pumped to start Kharazan but I just keep thinking that I'm going to be benched most of the time. Put me in coach!

Shake and shimmy in fear (or joy what have you) FOR I HAVE RETURNED! BWAHAHAHA.

First off, as always... the random party/guildchat. Let me give you a bit of background info. I took out my Hunter out to Tarren Mill to do some questing. As I stepped out of the inn, I hear a shadowbolt. I mean this thing was cast from max range and I ran inside but I was too late. It didn't hit me. It was after my poor Atomicat (my kitteh pet) and promptly keeled over dead. =(

Of course before I started questing, I parked my main in the inn too for situations like these. So this is a screen of me recounting the story to a guildie later when he asked me about my day:

Day of BC release yadda yadda:

My (now former) friend and I taking in the sights outside Silvermoon Ruins:

MANA TOMBS! (a.k.a. It's not a TOOMA) This instance was really challenging. I liked how it took a couple of tries on each boss to get it down pat. Overall it was a great instance to run with my guildies.

Of course in following tradition (of getting naked and looking stupid), I took a screen of these two:

My sister plays Alliance side on Dragonmaw and I heard her start freaking out one day when we were playing. I ask her what was up, and she just tells me "Make your way to Ironforge on D-Maw." So I got on my toon there and flew over and saw this guy:

I told my guildies to come, they made gnome alts with such fabulous names as Killmekruul, Gnomesacrifice, and a Dwarf named Grandmother. For some reason when we got there, some guy invited us to a guild called "A Little More Touch Me" and it was perfect for our silly tirade with Kruul in Ironforge.

My friend Gibby and I as we were going through SM:

Caverns of Time! This was exciting. As we made our way into the instance we were shocked to discover we were Humans! Holy cow!

Of course we explored Southshore and Tarren Mill in its completeness and wholeness. So many things to notice and spot. Especially in Southshore. It's a dream for anyone who keeps up with the lore in WoW.

Tarren Mill Chapel:

Anyone who has played Final Fantasy XI will get why I stopped my former Linkshell mate and asked him if this looked familiar at all:

And finally my favorite screen:

That's it friends!

Yes yes, I am completely aware that I am WAY overdue for an update, but you know how all these things go. As you can see above, I am the proud owner of 7/8 Shadowcraft. It's kinda ehh but the set bonus is sex in energy regen. ANYway, on to the short guild chat section this time:

It's so true. D:

I've been doing a lot of ZG and AQ20 since merging our guild with The Dread Council. We get along great, which is freakin' awesome considering I was worried to death about them getting used to a group of people who have been gaming together for about a year to longer. They are awesome as hell and I do not regret merging with them. And I am the Rogue captain so I'm glad about that. :D As our first venture as a guild, we decided to have a little get together at a certain area we weren't really supposed to be in:

Caverns of Time is a neat neat place. Afterwards, we went into this area of Deadwind Pass that I had to ghost through. I can't remember the name of the area specifically, or how it fits into the lore of WoW, but it was another one of those "zomg secret" places we weren't supposed to be in. The area is completely empty, save for the doors and the "doodads" that make that underground crypt really creepy. There's this area called the "Hall of Upsidedown Sinners" that's completely submerged underwater, and by far I think it's the creepiest place in the game I've been to.

The whole hall has these guys hanging from the floor and the celing just like that.

ANYWHOO, on a lighter note, there was this:

Yes, he was dead in our starting den. I think its so funny how in that game, Alliance seemed big and bad summoning Ivus, when all we had to do was kite him to the cave and do away with him. And the reaction was priceless. As soon as he was down, they all turned around and fled our cave, hahaha. And then we went on another half hour (in the already long 58 minutes) to win the game.

GUESS WHAT GUYS AND GALS, IT'S TIME FOR TAURENS:

TAUREN IN A HAT.

TAUREN IN A DANCE

TAUREN IN A DRESS :O

Forgive me Arno, but you know how it is with me and Taurens and screenshots.

There you have it! It's kind of a short update compared to the others, but I try. ^_____^

And I hope I'm not the only one with this wierd obsession with Taurens that dance and sit with their cute lil big hooves stickin' out.

Hmm...

I NEED HALP.

If you must know, yes I play a lot of video games and I don't consider myself very girly like most girls do... however I have a mean addiction to brand name handbags. It's terrible:

I'd like to point out that I'm still very much in love with my Louis Vuitton Damier medium loop. I don't use it anymore for fear of something horrible happening to it.

Moving on.

I love the Halloween event they have here in WoW. It's very festive and I like that a lot. I think going to Southshore planting stink bombs was quite fun, especially during the fervor at the beginning. And before I left, I had to leave this little gem:

As you can probably tell by now, I like using altering stuff on my character. I finished the Noggenfogger quest after putting it off for some time, and ended up looking like this:

I've decided to retire Kytel on the Crushridge server for now. I might make a return to the Alliance, who knows? I'll have to see later.

I'd also like to point out that Alliance on Detheroc are still assholes but in due time we'll make them as miserable as they made us when we were just trying to quest.

I'd like to point out that I have an extremely unusual infatuation with Taurens. But not in like a wierd erotic kinda way (ew), but like "OMG THEY'RE SO CUTE LOOKIT THEM HOOVES AHHHH!"

The only reason I myself didn't play a Tauren is because Taurens can't be Rogues but if they could.... holy crap, I'd be all over that shit. I'd name myself Mooninator or Sneakymoo or something equally clever that I can't think of at the moment. A Rogue Tauren would be hilarious but so effing cute.

And my two random screens:

And finally my very pretty esque picture:

I still like the way my screens came out. :D
